Youth Pastor Marc Johnson started The Living Room a year ago with a small group to minister to college age students and young adults. The group has grown and we are changing the name of the ministry and taking it in a new direction.

We are moving from a small group setting to a worship service setting on Monday nights. This will be held at the church.

"The Crossing" is the name we have chosen because people in their late teens and twenties often find themselves at the cross-roads of their lives. They are forced to make very important decisions that will affect their careers, families and destinies. In the Bible it is written, "Behold, I set before you life and death; a blessing and a curse. Oh, that you would choose life." "The Crossing" exists to help young adults choose life.

We will meet at the church at 9:30 AM and travel to Kathie Barnett's home for the study.

Justin N. Fennell, a Christian comedian, will bring his jokes and tales to Mountain Home First Assembly for our annual Wild Game Dinner.

Gwenn Marie and Blue Dogwood will provide Bluegrass music for us.

This should be a fun time together as we support our Royal Rangers Ministry through this unique fund raiser.

There may be venison, squirrel, goose, duck, wild turkey, beaver, fish, hog and who knows what else.
There will also be some "non game" foods for those picky eaters.
