Sunday, January 29th was National Men's Day.
Missionary Randle Peterson, as well as Teen Challenge Men, were in service with us on Sunday Evening, January 15th.
Our missions weekend is an opportunity for the church to focus on our responsibility to share the message of hope through Christ Jesus to the world. Some of the DOC Kids presented the flags of the nations during the Sunday Morning Rally. Many of the Missionaries were able to join us for the service.
Our Annual World Missions Convention was held on January 14th and 15th. More than 20 Missionary Families were able to be with us this year. We had a great International Banquet on Saturday night.
National Director of Church Multiplication Network, Steve Pike, was presented with a check for $30,000. by Board Members Joe Palella and Rodney Wiggins. The funds will be used according to the guidelines set by the National Office. As a part of the Assemblies of God, church planters are connected to networks of multipliers at the local, district and national levels.
